Just had a lovely night in the Creran apartment - it’s stunning and so comfortable, it had everything we needed - loved the touches such as the milk and cake! We walked along the cycle path to the Old Inn for dinner - a lovely 25 minute walk from the house, dinner was amazing and such friendly staff. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely try to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our couple of nights stay in the Linnhe apartment with friends from Copenhagen. Perfect location for showing them the sights (Appin, Glenfinnan, Glencoe etc). Nice to stay in a house with a bit of history and character. Accommodation is tastefully decorated, comfortable and perfect for socialising. We had a lovely meal at The Pierhouse and steaks in the apartment as we left it too late to book the Old Inn�� We would recommend and hope to return.

Fabulous stay at kinlochlaich, we stayed in Creran with our 2 children for 7 days and enjoyed every moment. The apartment was comfy and very clean, the welcome pack was very lovely and had everything we needed after a 12hr drive. Jason was incredibly welcoming and gave us lots of suggestions of local places to visit. It's in a perfect location to explore west coast Scotland. We hope to visit again and will be recommending to all our friends.

We had an absolutely fabulous time staying at Kinlochlaich House. We stayed in Corrie, which was excellent and full of charm. Abi & Jason are the perfect hosts and we are so pleased to be able to call them our friends. It’s the perfect place to stay with a homely feel from the moment you arrive - it was a wrench to leave when we did and we can’t wait to visit again. The location is perfect for exploring Glencoe and the West coast of Scotland.

What a beautiful house and location. We came for a couple of nights for my sister's wedding. Abi and Jason came to the rescue with an iron and ironing board for wedding outfits! They are lovely hosts who are very accommodating. Our favourite was waking up to the chickens outside the living room window having their breakfast! Would love to come back and explore the area more.

Great accommodation in Argyll. Our three night stay in Corrie was ideal as we had everything we needed for being close to our friend's wedding venue the next day. The apartment was well catered for included welcome pack. Also great to have friends in other two apartments so if you're looking for accommodation for a group, it works well as everyone had space. We made use of the local taxi service and ate locally - all to be highlightly recommended. Loved the running ducks and ragdoll cats!

We had a lovely week in Corrie. Nice welcome from the owners when we arrived in the pouring rain! Accommodation is compact but very well equipped with a lovely comfy bed and good shower. Welcome pack was appreciated and eaten. Granola was delicious! Local area was spot on and plenty of information supplied. We enjoyed good weather, walked to Port Appin a couple of times via the cycle track and visited The Old Inn. It took about twenty minutes to walk there and the food was fabulous! You need to book though! It’s very popular. Kinlochlaich House is well placed for driving to Oban and north to Fort William, Glencoe and Ballachulish. We will be back

A beautiful setting from which to explore the surrounding area. The house is set back from the road, in gardens that the guests are encouraged to stroll through, there is also an abundance of wildlife, the dawn chorus is a joy. The apartment (in my case Corrie), was spacious, spotless, very well equipped, and extremely comfortable, a proper home from home. Abi is a charming host, on hand, and contactable before, and during the stay, and the welcome pack, including home baking was gratefully received. There is so much to do Oban, Mull, Fort William, Glencoe, all within an hour, that you really are spoilt for choice. I will certainly be back

A great Easter break for two in the Corrie Apartment of Kinlochlaich House. Very comfortable with everything you need. Jason & Abi were great hosts and they looked after us very well from the first communication. Welcome pack was very well received. I agree with another reviewer who said to do a shop before you arrive. Don’t forget shampoo and shower gel. The Oban to Fort William cycle path is close by and great for cycling to the Holytree Hotel. This takes you by the Loch and through different types of terrain. Port Appin and the Isle o Lismore are close by. Take the Jubilee Bridge to Port Appin. For evening meal I would avoid the Creagan Inn. Airds Hotel, Peirhouse Hotel and the Old Inn are highly recommended. The Holytree Hotel looked great also. The scenery and views were excellent. Lunch at cafe Lismore was very good after cycling to the passenger ferry at Port Appin. Worth taking the Ferry across the Loch.

Had a great stay in Linnhe apartment. There is everything you need and it's all new and good quality, the welcome pack is also lovely! The location is excellent for Oban, Lismore and Glencoe with plenty to do locally as well. Abi and Jason were fantastic hosts with plenty of recommendations of things to do and a good supply of logs for the fire. The chickens and ducks are friendly too! Just returned from our honeymoon and 5 nights glorious stay in Creran apartment at Kinlochlaich House. Abi and Jason were great hosts and the area did not disappoint. The apartment was spacious, charming with the added bonus of a log burner. We explored the area and took a lovely rest from work. We would thoroughly recommend this beautiful place to anyone wanting to get away from everything but not being too remote from exploring other areas of Scotland. It's a good idea to pick up a supply of food on the way up if staying for a few days, there are a couple of small shops locally but obviously they don't stock the range of a supermarket and charge a bit more. We hope to return before too long.

We had a most enjoyable and comfortable stay in the Linnhe at Kinlochlaich House. Cozy fire, lovely decor, well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Jason and Abi were attentive hosts pre and during our stay with helpful info to help us plan our time and we would never have found that beautiful waterfall if it weren't for them. The girls even had a dip! We also loved the outdoor space at Kinlochlaich: sunset by the swing, morning tennis and walks through the lovely gardens. Thank you, we will be back.

Had a lovely relaxing break at Kinlochlaich House, we didn't want to leave. The apartment was lovely and was well equipped and the grounds were stunning. It is ideally situated to visit Oban and Fort Willian. There is also plenty to do, we took a trip on the Jacobite Train from Fort William, hadn't booked just turned up on the morning and luckily there was tickets available from the Guards. Also from Fort William we took Cable Car up Ben Nevis, the scenery was amazing. From Oban we took the ferry to Mull, from there we drove to Tobermory, lovely little place to visit. There is a local pub The Old Inn which is about 20mins walk from Kinlochlaich House but I would advise to book well in advance if you want to eat there. I hope to return to do more exploring. Abi & Jason were lovely hosts and gave us lots of information.

We stayed at Creran for 4 nights. Creran was fantastic, spacious and well equipped. Jason and Abi were great hosts even loaning us tennis bats and ball. I can’t rate Kinlochlaiche House highly enough. It’s stunning and set on wonderful grounds. Appin is a beautiful place and we soon realised photos don’t do the area justice. If we didn’t have a 6 hour drive we’d be regular visitors to Kinlochlaiche but will certainly making the journey sometime in the future.

We spent a lovely week with our little dog in Corrie (31/7), which was small but clean, warm, well equipped and suited our needs. Kinlochlaich House is set in beautiful surroundings and is a great place to unwind and relax. It’s a great place to explore this fantastic area of Scotland. As most reviewers have mentioned, Jason & Abi are welcoming hosts, so much so that they haven’t barred us after our dog chased one of their chickens!

We revisited Kinlochlaich in late June 2021 this time in the Linnhe Apartment. The apartment was fresh, clean and well aired just as our first visit to the Creran apartment in May 2021. The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable. Jason and Abi again ran the extra mile to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Whilst Kinlochlaich is undeniably a very special place, Appin and the surrounding district is still a very unspoiled place and for those seeking an authentic Highland Experience, this is a must ! As a Highlander myself but now living in Edinburgh , I can assure you Appin is the real deal !
Looking forward to returning in the Autumn or Spring.
